Built on the former site of the Couvent des Minimes, a charming island in the heart of the Bois de Vincennes, we owe the Chalet de la porte jaune to Baron Haussmann. In 1860, he had it built, like a hunting rendezvous for the Imperial Court, at the request of the Empress Eugenie. As for its name, it alludes to a similar pavilion in the Bois de Saint-Cloud, former official residence of the Court and also called Chalet de la Porte Jaune.
Today, listed as a Historic Monument and fully restored under the patronage of the Bâtiments de France, the Chalet de la Porte Jaune provides lounges and other modular spaces that can accommodate up to 1 people. All in an exceptional site: on the Île des Minimes, in the Bois de Vincennes and just a few minutes from the center of Paris.
