Nestled in the heart of the Bois de Boulogne, a sumptuous Napoleon III pavilion houses the Pré Catelan. Jewel of the Lenôtre house, it takes its name from Théophile Catelan, Louis XVI's hunting captain.
Inaugurated in 1905, the Pré Catelan, with its sublime dining room, its numerous lounges, drawings by Caran d'Ache, sculptures by Badin and other bas-reliefs, was immediately a huge success.
